Grotta Sonora gongs are tuned by ear. We don’t push the gong into a specific note or frequency, but try to help them express themselves at their best. For this reason gongs have an indicative range of notes in which they can be tuned which corresponds to the diameter of the gong.
The indicated range includes the most common notes, and therefore in which it resonates at its best, in which the gongs in this measure are tuned, but there can always be exceptions!

Note
Each of these gongs are completely handmade and even though we take the best care we can while making them, it can happen to have little imperfections in the gongs. Fingerprints on the back of the gongs, little scratches or little marks created during the forging process are inevitable even if we do our best to reduce them as much as possible.
